M-Series encoders ship with StreamTool, a powerful application for Windows2000 and XP that allows the user complete control of the encoding parameters.

The M-Series are capable of MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 encoding, with data rates in the 120Kbit to 15Mbit per second range, with video quality that is second to none. It is possible to incorporate as many as five (or more) encoders in the same video server. These broadcast quality encoders will run reliably 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

iView Data M-Series MPEG encoders have been designed to be 100% compatible to the NS-series boards. Since these boards are fully compatible, the M-Series boards can be substituted in current applications where you have an investment in software design.
There are several models to choose from allowing maximum flexibility to meet your need and budget. These NT-based encoders incorporate the latest DVxpert silicon from C-Cube Microsystems.
The M-Series encoders are designed from the ground up to support multiple encoders per PC with fault tolerance and reliability you can count on.
